The South Shore University Hospital Charity Golf Outing is an annual tradition. This year, for the first time ever, we're adding a Helicopter Golf Ball Drop. On June 9 at 12pm, streaming live on Instagram @thepizzeria.ny, our honoree The Pizzeria will drop 800 numbered golf balls from a helicopter. The ball closest to the pin wins $8,000 from the 50/50 raffle. The ball farthest from the pin wins free pizza for a year.
Every ball has a shot. Two winners on drop day — June 9, live on Instagram. The closest and the farthest from the pin.
The golf ball that lands closest to the pin takes home $8,000, the winning half of the 50/50 raffle. The other half goes to South Shore University Hospital.
